Smittie r u out there Part 3

Dear Smittie,
Everything has fallen into place kind of at Terry.

1. I have been able to not get wet so far in the rain.
2. I have been able to take home my instrument from band. It is a oboe.
3. I have made so many new friends and meet new teachers (they are not better than Thompson's teacher's though.) .
4. I have been able to eat better at lunch. And more food!! :) :)

My first week as a 6th grader.

Well.... it was pretty weird not getting up and leaving the house like usual as a Thompson Elementary student, I am now a 6th grader at Terry Middle School and it is pretty cool and all, but I miss Thompson, I can't stop thinking about the teachers and all my younger friend over there, and I miss every single person there. But I miss my teacher's and I want to thank them all for all they've done 4 me and my fellow 6th grade friends from Thompson Elementary. So 4 1, get all the people in someplace like the gym and show this I want to start with thanking my teacher's, Mrs. Burchett, Mrs. Whittington, Mrs. McDowell, Mrs. Pinkston and Mrs. Lee/Sanders, Mr. Smith. And the gym teacher's, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Spain, and my girl scout leader/gym teacher, Mrs. Hernandez. The Lunch Ladies, Custodians, Principals, Librarian, Music Teacher, Art Teacher, and every single person at Thompson. Well gtg bye and I will c u all another day.

I made a select soccer team!!

Well hey everyone!! It is 0!ivi@!! Well lately i have been outside like almost everyday trying out for a select soccer team, well all that work has payed off, cause i tried out 4 like 3 teams and only one gave me a scholarship and that team was Juventus. (It's italian) (Ju-Ven-Tus) And I am playing defense for now. WOO-HOO!!

What it feels like being a 6th grader

Well.... now that I have graduated from the 5th grade, I already miss Smittie and everyone @ Thompson. :( (Waaaaaaa!!) :( Sorry. Got a bit misty there, but you have to let your feelings out anyday so,... (sigh) Now I'll be a small, smart, 6th grader @ Terry. In Band, which by the way I will be playing the oboe and one of the only ones in band. Well, Gtg!! Bye!! :( :)

My Champoinship game that is coming up

Well my Champoinship game is coming up.... And my team is playing another team called Lady Dragons. So my team is very nervous and scared B/C the coach says or yells from the sideline to stomp on our throats when we fall. But then again the referree will handle him and his big fat mouth of his. My crossed animal (Which is pretty cool)

This is my "new" animal. Or a cross between a Yeti crab and a Bulabula iguana. I know weird, but it was all I could think of. And here is the drawing. (sorry for the upside down or upside whatever situation) Here are some facts for you.

Future Quest

Will TAKS help on my future? Yes. Because I actually learn from it, plus all it is , is a test to prove what you learned, and well to me it will help me get into college, and maybe get me a scholarship into college depending how good I do. To me TAKS means a lot. Because it helps me by what objective I need help on. And to me all I see it as is ugly, but it actually is to me a gold coin. (or a piece of candy) Plus it could as I said earlier.... help me with college. And I sometimes on the reading find the stories pretty interesting. When I get to 6th grade, it could help me there too. Because.... it will help me determine if I will get good or bad classes. If I don't pass then I'll get stuck with bad classes, if I do pass, then I'll get stuck with good classes. So TAKS is Tuesday, and Wednesday plus Thursday for extra time. And I have to pass. I've already been to tutoring, and I think I'm ready. Alright I got to go, just remember TAKS means my future, and I have to pass to get to where I really want to go. The-End!!!!

How I felt when me and Lily did our rap song

So me and Lily were supposed to write and compose a math rap song, well you want to know what we did it on? UPSL. So we were writing our lyrics, and it was kind of fun because for 1 the lyrics were kind of funny, and our song was kind of off on the lyrics, but who cared I thought that it was going to be a hit. Literally. But who knows it was fun, and exciting, plus we kind of acted like H00P$ @ND Y0Y0. HA-HA-HA-HA!!!! And I actually enjoyed it a lot, because I have never really written a rap song. But yeah it was fun.

My Feelings for the Big Ugly

1. Express your truest feelings about your thoughts of having to come back to school after chillin' for a week
I feel 50 50 when it comes to coming back to school, and spring break was long, and relaxing.
2. Provide your thoughts about having to take the TAKS
My thoughts are, well to tell you the truth, I'm very nervous that I'll fail.
3. Tell me what the TAKS test means to you
It means to me if I fail, I won't be in NEHS anymore, or Student Council, or Camera Crew. So I hope that I pass, and don't get kicked out of any of the 3 things I just mentioned.
4. Describe the importance of the TAKS test and those who deem it most critical
Well.... if you think about it, the state is just testing what you know, plus my mom thinks it is very important for college, and I think that it's just a math and reading test that should be thrown in the trash.
5. Explain your confident level in taking the test
I would say my confident level is 10.
6. Convey what you will do about the test once you take over after graduating from college
I'll get rid of it for life.

My Weekend of Feb. 26-28,2010

This Weekend I went to my brother's soccer game. It was good, till my friend, Savannah, and I, were almost hit with a soccer ball. But we didn't HA-HA-HA!! And after the game, my brother's friend had to come with us, it wasn't fun, because my nickname is Olive Garden, or just Olive, well they just started to tease me about it, and I almost hurt both of them with a soccer ball, but I didn't. (P.S, the score was 4-2) which means they lost. Then we went to my Great Grandpa's house for my Mom's cousin Salvy. He came with his wife, and 2 boys, which 1 was 3, and the other was 10 months. It was so fun!! I got to play with my little cousin's I didn't know about till now!! Then like an hour later, my cousin Gloria, came in with her baby,(who is also my other little cousin who was born last October. (in 2009) and started to let me and my cousin who is my age, play with him.

Here are some reasons why I would vote for 'Honest Abe'.
1. is because he was against slavery.
2. is because he is the greatest, fairest, most against slavery President that ever lived.
3. is because he guided the U.S through the Civil War.
4. is because he gave speeches that were about slavery, but against slavery of course.
5. is because he helped form the new Republican Party for an anti-slavery platform.
6. is because he reunited a fractured nation,and almost single-handedly ended slavery in the process.
And those are the reasons I would vote for 'Honest Abe', or President Abraham Lincoln.
