What it's like as a slave (for a day.)
Chapter 1:The horrible attack.
It all started out on a normal day in West Africa. I was in my house playing with my friend, when all of a sudden I heard some gunshots and a women screaming next door, when someone from the next nearby village bust down my door and grabbed me ,and my friend ,and 5 more men came in and ran inside for my family. Me and my friend started to scream, but the man told us that if we continue to scream, he would kill us, so we stopped screaming and we were quiet the rest of the long trip we were on.
Chapter 2:The chain journey to the coast.
40 minutes later, me and my friend and family were chained together with wrist chains and ankle chains. We were forced to walk like 40 miles to the coast, so we could be put on a ship that had other people on it.We were halfway there when suddenly my friend fainted on the ground like that. Then the man said,"Who fainted!!!" and I was brave enough to say,"My friend, sir.""Well wake her up if you can and let's get moving.""We don't have much time."So I started to wake her up, and she woke up saying,"What happened?!" then I said,"You fainted. That's what happened."" And the guy said to wake you up as soon as possible.""So I did." Half an hour later, we arrived at this strange place with these strange people who were going to take my friend and my family, and me of course, to this odd place these so called Americans call, North America.
Chapter 3:The ship ride to a new world.
While on the ship, my friend was reunited with her family because they separated my friend from my family and then.... My father just started to scream and then two guards came and said,"Be quiet!!!!!!" and hit him with the bottom of their guns.Then I screamed and one the guards turned around and slapped me hard.Then I did nothing ,but sit next to my older brother,and my mom.
Chapter 4:My arrival in America.
One morning at dawn, it had been 6months or so, or at least it felt like it.I heard some man scream, "Land Hooo!!!!" Then some man came in the gigantic room of like 2600 slaves and said,"Wake up all of ya." and some other guy came behind him with a whip as long as a boa constrictor. So my family got off the ship and knew we were going to have to start our new lives here in what the Americans called,"America".

My Marvalous Monday

It all started out when I woke up to a loud, and crazy morning around 10:30a.m. My grandpa arrived to help fix some things around the house. He was a bit noisy, and it hurt my ears. After that wild racket, I couldn't sleep, so I decided to get out of bed, and make myself some microwaveable pancakes. Those fluffy, pieces of heaven made me almost fall asleep on the dining-room table. Which was made of wood. Then I put my plate, and silverware in the sink like I was supposed to. Then I went to my restroom, and brushed my teeth, did my hair, then I went to my room and got dressed for the really cloudy, day ahead of me. Then around 11:20a.m, my brother, Jacob, the lazy couch potato of the family, said his friend Robert,and my friend Gabriella, were coming to pick us up for the movies. They were taking us to see "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs." And afterwards, they took us to CiCi's, and that was so good. Then we went over to their house afterwards. Then around 5:15, our mom picked us up, and took us home. When we got home, Jacob had to get ready for his soccer practice. So he did. Then when we were already there, my mom reminded me that I had a soccer game at 8:00. Then she told me she was just playing. It got canceled the day before. So during my brother's practice, my mom and I went to go get gas. Then we went to go get my brother. At around 8:00 or 9:00, we had finally left practice, with one of Jacob's soccer friends, Christian. We had to take him home. After we dropped him off at his house, my mom took my brother and me to Sonic. When we were taking our dinner home, I heard one of my favorite songs on the radio, "Party in the U.S.A" by Miley Cyrus. So of course I started to sing along. When we got home, we all went to wash our hands in the restroom, and set the dinner table. Then when the tv turned on, we started to eat. We were watching "Dancing with the stars." Then I went to my restroom and went to take a shower. After I got out, I went to my room to get dressed. Then I went back to the restroom to do my hair,and brushed my teeth. After that I went to my computer to start my blogging assignment. And that's all folks!!!!!!

Ecosystems-How we depend on each other

Ecosystems is what we're learning about in class these few couple of weeks. We got some Mosquito Fish & baby Mosquito Fish,snails,elodia,gravel,seeds,crickets,rollie-pollies, & soil. It is just so much fun watching the animals do what they usually do in their natural habitat's,growing seeds that are going to be huge!! My group & I think we have a pregnant fish,but who knows?!
